2. This isn’t the same Kenny Hill from previous years

Baylor had a tough time slowing down the red-hot Kenny Hill on Senior Day in Fort Worth as he passed for 325 yards and three touchdowns on 26-of-36 completions. He rushed for another 20 yards and a score and was the main reason the Horned Frogs pulled away from the Bears in this one.

Moreover, Hill can now be credited with leading TCU from preseason unranked to the Big 12 title game against Oklahoma. The Horned Frogs clinched a title berth with the victory and he looked like a completely different quarterback from previous seasons.

In years past, Hill would be criticized for his carelessness with the ball. He had been known to turn it over multiple times each week, but he has made a concerted effort to protect the pigskin, and it shows.

Hill was effective against the Bears on Friday, scoring four times with no turnovers and he’s thrown just five interceptions all season long. He has 19 touchdowns to his name through the air with five picks — as opposed to 13 interceptions last season.
