What Washington State Cougars head coach Mike Leach has done with this team in the PAC-12 North shows his overall coaching prowess. Leach was pulled out of retirement to come coach in Pullman, WA, and has not disappointed since.

Washington State is right in the thick of contention in the PAC-12 North and is just one win away over the Washington Huskies in the Apple Cup from making an appearance in the PAC-12 Championship Game.

Leach develops quarterbacks consistently into some of the best in the nation. Senior quarterback Luke Falk and former Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell are just two examples of what Leach is able to do with some underrated recruits at the quarterback position.

Chances are that Leach stays in Pullman after the conclusion of the 2017 season. Yet, his name has been swirling in rumors among some of the better programs in the country. Don’t rule out a return to Texas for Leach during the off-season.
