The 2017 college football coaching carousel is in full swing. Here are the winners and losers of Week 15 in the carousel.

The College Football Playoff rankings are set in stone and teams like Clemson, Alabama, Georgia and Oklahoma have done a great job of cultivating winning success. Georgia and Oklahoma have made the playoff under first-time head football coaches, and Lincoln Riley is in his first year as the boss of the Sooners.

Scott Frost has officially left UCF for Nebraska, which I covered in last week’s edition. An honorable mention winner for Week 15 is Auburn. The Tigers were able to get Gus Malzahn to sign an extension and avoided him leaving Toomer’s Corner for the Arkansas Razorbacks’ opening.

Arkansas is still available, as is Tennessee, now Central Florida and Florida State. The Seminoles are meeting with Willie Taggart as I type this and I’ve written about that as well.

If the Oregon Ducks’ head coaching position does open up, that’s twice in three years after decades of staying in Eugene for their coaching search. I can see the top candidates there being their own defensive coordinator in Jim Leavitt, possibly a hot shot hire like Chad Morris of SMU, or even a safe bet like Mike MacIntyre from Colorado.

Here are the two winners and two losers for Week 15’s coaching carousel.
