Stanford football hopes to add a few more names to their 2018 class. With National Signing Day drawing near here are the Cardinal’s top five targets.

Currently sitting just outside the top 50, Stanford owns the No. 51 2018 recruiting class in the nation. Considering the academic hurdles that have to be overcome to get a prospect accepted to the school in the first place, that’s not a terrible finish, but it could be better. The Cardinal brought in the No. 14 class last season, highlighted by three 5-star prospects, two of them on the offensive line.

One of the things that Stanford does have going for them is the signatures of a large portion of their 2018 recruiting class already final. The early signing period can be attributed to the security with the current class so far, but that doesn’t mean head Coach David Shaw is finished.

With National Signing Day around the corner there are still a handful of recruits that he’s keeping his eye on. Some of them have already pledged their commitment to Stanford while others haven’t announced a favorite just yet and the Cardinal hope it will be them.

Here are the top five unsigned targets for the Stanford football 2018 recruiting class, starting with a pair of Stanford commits that have yet to sign.
