4. Drew Lock throws touchdowns on touchdowns

If you haven’t heard, Drew Lock is quite the passer. Missouri fans have even gone so far as to call him their “Golden Arm.” In 2017, he threw for an SEC record 44 touchdowns and personally had one of the most successful seasons in conference history. His team may not have been as successful as they could have been at the start of the season, but he was able to lead a turn around that no one saw coming.

If you think that Lock will suddenly become unable to throw touchdowns in 2018, you’re just plain wrong. He will work and fight throughout the summer and into spring practice to help Missouri be successful in 2018. Based on Lock’s arm strength alone, I have Missouri as a sleeper team in the SEC East in the coming season. They have the talent to make a run for the title, the question is just how they will use it.

One thing is for sure, 2018 will be a historic season for Drew Lock as lots of Missouri career records are within his reach. Don’t let his teams record fool you into under valuing him as a player. He is more than a record. He has proven himself again and again. 2018 will not be an exception.
