Oregon State might be the worst team in the Pac-12 next season, just like it was in 2017. There’s no end to the struggle in sight with head coach Gary Andersen gone and Jake Luton returning as the starter after playing in just four games a year ago — he went 1-3 and hasn’t played a game since Sept. 16.

Luton will struggle mightily against the Cardinal. The defense at this point will be much stronger than it was at the beginning of the year and will hold the starting quarterback to just 150 yards while picking him off three times. He’s going to wish this game never happened.

KJ Costello might have his best game of the year, passing for over 400 yards and three touchdowns. Bryce Love will also add over 100 yards again, adding to his impressive season total. This one will be over by halftime.

It’s tough to watch a team like Oregon State struggle so much, but the Cardinal got a fight from the Beavers last season in Corvallis and they’re trying to make sure that doesn’t happen again — David Shaw inexplicably left KJ Costello on the bench while Keller Chryst struggled all game.

Final Score: Oregon State 10, Stanford 35 (7-3, 5-2 Pac-12)
