Last, but certainly not least, is the offensive tackle who everyone seems to be talking about these days: Nicholas Petit-Frere. The Tampa-native is the hottest offensive lineman on the market right now and everyone will be tuned in on National Signing Day to see where he ends up.

The current trend for the five-star tackle is Ohio State as Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes’ staff has put the full-court press on him. He visited Ohio State on Feb. 2, just a week after he was in Gainesville to visit with the Florida Gators.

While Ohio State has been trending for him lately, Florida still has a slight lead, it seems. The Gators had been the favorite before the Ohio State visit and unless that truly blew him away, it’d be shocking to see him make the move north after being invested in the Florida program for so long.

Petit-Frere will be an interesting recruit to watch on National Signing Day. Notre Dame, Michigan and Alabama are also in the mix for the nation’s No. 1-ranked tackle. He’s also listed as the No. 7 overall prospect, per 247Sports.
