3. Is Stanford in for a rankings jump on NSD?

At this moment, Stanford sits behind a good portion of Group of Five programs in the team rankings. The Cardinal also sit behind the Cal Golden Bears, Washington State Cougars, and Oregon Ducks in the Pac-12 rankings. That’s not something that feels right after Stanford’s recent success.

Shaw is a coach that knows how to make the most of the resources available to him, and Stanford fans should trust the process he goes through. However, it’s always nice to witness a nice crop of incoming freshmen for what promises to be a tough slate in the Pac-12 in 2018.

It would not take much for Stanford to jump both Cal and Wazzu in the Pac-12 rankings. Adding one or two more highly-touted four-star recruits could get that done. Few big time programs are in need of a bigger NSD than Stanford.

With the serious potential to add two or three more recruits to the mix overall, it’s very possible that Stanford is among the big movers on NSD. They’re hot on the trail of a few four and three-star prospects and could land them early on NSD.
