Kamren Curl was a solid contributor as a true freshman cornerback for the Razorbacks in 2017, recording 46 tackles and eight pass deflections, but could he play alongside another true freshman in 2018? Ladarrius Bishop is the Razorbacks’ top-rated cornerback in the class and he could very well take over the position opposite Curt, left vacant by Henre’ Toliver.

Soon-to-be junior Britto Tutt is the early favorite to win the job, but you can’t overlook Bishop who will come in during the summer and compete right away. Tutt didn’t have much of an impact in 2017 and it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see Chad Morris go with one of his guys.

Bishop is listed as the No. 579 recruit in the class, 53rd-best cornerback and No. 6 prospect from Arkansas. He’s from nearby Ashdown, Ark., and picked the Razorbacks over the likes of Mississippi State, Baylor, Florida and Oklahoma State.

The 6-foot-0, 190-pound defensive back is versatile enough to play some safety as well, but his natural position is corner. Don’t be surprised to see him on the field extensively as a true freshman.
