Two potential incoming freshmen who could become starters and two Army All-Americans. Chase Cota is one of the best receiver recruits in the 2018 class and Chip Kelly can rest easy knowing he has a decent corps of wide outs at his disposal.

Unfortunately, the depth took a decent hit with starters Jordan Lasley and Darren Andrews leaving for the NFL, but Kelly brings in Cota who could instantly become a threat on the outside.

Losing two top receivers will hurt, but Cota will ease the pain and it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see him inserted into the starting rotation early on. No, he’s not an early enrollee, which may hurt his chances, but he’s a strong-bodied receiver with excellent hands and impressive speed.

Cota reigns from Medford, Ore., and picked the Bruins over Kelly’s former school, Oregon. He’s ranked the No. 128 prospect and 19th-best receiver in the class. He held over a dozen offers, but committed to UCLA in December.
