The first day of on field drills during the 2018 NFL Combine produced plenty of buzz, both positive and negative. Who were the winners and losers from Day 1?

This is the time of the year when hand size becomes of utmost importance and grown men suit up in tights to run sprints. The NFL Combine is a proving ground for the nation’s elite prospects. Every year there are a few unknown names that rise to the forefront and a few more that fall away. This year was no different.

The first day of on-field events during the 2018 NFL Combine belonged to the offensive lineman and the running backs. Scouts were locked into the bench press to see these tackles, guards and centers in their test of strength.

The speed and agility drills were the highlight of the running backs events. Whether it was the 3-cone, the 20-yard shuttle of the 40 yard dash, all of the participants had their chance show their quickness.
