The next step in the 2018 NFL Draft process is the Pro Days. Schools around the nation will host scouts on campus in one final attempt to showcase their players.

NFL prospects get a few addition opportunities to showcase their skills in front of scouts and front office members after the season regular season ends. The Senior Bowl was one such chance. The other major opportunity was the 2018 NFL Combine.

Players like UTSA’s Marcus Davenport and LSU’s D.J. Chark had big days at both the Senior Bowl and the 2018 NFL Combine. Other players, like early entrant Saquon Barkley, wowed in their workouts at the combine and won’t be able to do much more to improve on their soaring draft stocks.

Some draft entrants participated in both events, while others weren’t invited to either. Nearly all of the players that have exhausted their college eligibility or chosen to leave school early will participate in Pro Days.

Pro Days serve two major purposes. Prospects with poor showings at the Senior Bowl and/or the NFL Combine will have the chance to atone for their first impressions with an improvement at their Pro Day. It also affords lesser known prospects that did not earn combine invitations a chance to work out in front of NFL teams.
