The Arkansas football annual Red-White game returns to Little Rock in 2018. Here’s how to watch the Razorbacks spring game.

More: Five biggest questions facing Arkansas this spring

The Arkansas fan base awaits their spring game with cautious optimism. Out is former head coach Bret Bielema and in is Chad Morris, formerly of SMU. This scrimmage will be the first time fans get to see their new team and new offense take to air and hopefully find the endzone.

The move to Little Rock is a departure from tradition, but it’s for a good cause. Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville is currently undergoing renovations. The shift to the Razorbacks home away from home allows the game to continue while the final preparations are made for Arkansas’ home opener against Eastern Illinois.

Here’s how to watch the 2018 Red-White game:

Date: Saturday, April 7
Time: 2:00 p.m. ET
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Venue: War Memorial Stadium
TV: SEC Network
Live Stream: WatchESPN

Players to watch

The offense is going to look a lot different under coach Morris this season, and that’s a good thing. Arkansas loses six of its’ top seven receivers from a year ago, so the air-heavy attack which Morris hopes to employ will have to start with fresh faces like Deon Stewart JUCO transfer Jonathan Nance.

The battle for the starting quarterback job is just as intriguing as the competition at wideout. Austin Allen is NFL-bound leaving troubled Cole Kelley to battle for snaps with redshirt freshman Daulton Hyatt and junior Ty Story. Expect to see all three on the field on Saturday with plenty of reps for each. Morris still has some time before he names a starter, but the sooner he can hone in on his guy, the better.
