Every season, there’s one game that the underdog takes and for Florida, this will be just that. No one is saying that South Carolina will be the overwhelming favorite here, but the Gamecocks could very well find themselves ranked at this point in the year, especially if Jake Bentley plays to potential and Deebo Samuel breaks out.

Playing in The Swamp will bring the Gamecocks back down to earth, though.

Florida is going to play one of their best all-around games of the season, getting after Bentley early and often and sending him running for his life which will, in turn, lead to a few costly mistakes.

The offense, too, will remain hot after a strong showing against Missouri at home a week earlier. The Gators will throw for over 250 yards and rush for another 150, surpassing the 400-yard total for yet another game. See, this Dan Mullen era isn’t too bad.

South Carolina will put up a good fight, but one Bentley interception late in the fourth quarter followed by a Florida score will seal the deal. Florida will lock up a winning record in SEC play.

Final Score: South Carolina 20, Florida 28 (7-3, 5-3 SEC)
