It may seem a little late in the season to be facing an FCS foe, and that’s because it is. But the SEC is known for scheduling these layup games late in the season which usually bolsters their overall record and this will be no different for the Gators.

Idaho made the move back to the FCS in 2018 after spending four seasons as a member of the Sun Belt. The Vandals had been in the FBS for a couple of decades, but the program decided it was time to move back, becoming the first FBS program in recent memory to make a voluntary move down a level.

This should be a walk in the park for the Gators as Idaho barely has a pulse on the gridiron and head coach Paul Petrino is just 19-41 in six seasons with the program.

Moreover, the Vandals were just 4-8 overall last season and got rocked by the only Power Five team on their scheduled which also happened to be from the SEC. Missouri smacked Idaho around for 60 minutes, winning 68-21.

Florida may not score 68, but this one will be a blowout, too.

Final Score: Idaho 10, Florida 42 (8-3)
