Lane Kiffin comes to town for this one, searching for the biggest win of his FAU coaching career. Hitting the road to take on Oklahoma won’t be easy, but he doesn’t lack confidence in big-time battles.

De’Andre Johnson, a star of Season 2 of ‘Last Chance U’, is projected to be the starter at quarterback and he brings his dual-three ability into this one and should challenge the Sooner defense.

Devin Singletary, too, should cause problems on the ground after rushing for 1,920 yards and 32 touchdowns last season. He was clearly one of the least talked about stars in college football and may go off on a national stage to start the year.

However, the home-field advantage for Oklahoma and emergence of Kyler Murray who will take advantage of his two top targets as well as Rodney Anderson going off for 150 yards against an average defense will be the difference here.

FAU has shown it has the ability to play tough Power Five teams closely, and this one will be tight for the first half, but the Sooners will run away in the final 30 minutes.

Final Score: FAU 27, Oklahoma 48 (1-0)
