Stanford football will look to get an early major victory in the Pac-12 by winning their opening conference game against the USC Trojans.

The USC Trojans and Stanford Cardinal both looked good in decisive Week 1 victories.

The Cardinal’s Week 1 victory over the San Diego State Aztecs showed that even when Bryce Love has a poor game they can still put up solid offensive numbers. They have an emerging start at wide receiver in JJ Arcega-Whiteside and his matchup against the Trojans secondary will be one of the best of the game.

USC has an up-and-coming star in freshman quarterback JT Daniels who made a number of big plays in the win against UNLV.

With this game being a potential conference championship preview it could be a shootout where each team scores over 40, or turn into a defensive game with a 14-10 final as both coaches know how to recruit that side of the ball.

Here are some of the bold predictions I think could happen in this Pac-12 matchup.
