4. Between Burrow and Stidham, Auburn has the better quarterback.

Ohio State transfer Joe Burrow has taken the reigns in Baton Rouge and hasn’t looked back. He was praised for his lack of screw ups against a Miami defense that thrives on takeaways, but all in all didn’t show much in terms of being a top-rated SEC quarterback. As it stands now, he is only completing 47 percent of his passes- a number that the LSU Tigers will need to improve upon if they plan on bringing home a win on Saturday afternoon.

On the other side is Jarrett Stidham, a transfer from Baylor who started for the Tigers all of last season. His play last season- 3,158 yards and 18 touchdowns- earned him the spot as the SEC Newcomer of the Year. However, is no longer the newcomer. Instead, he is poised and battle tested. After playing and beating teams like Washington, Alabama and Georgia, this small town Texas kid has become a staple in the Auburn offense.

That isn’t to say that Burrow isn’t talented and capable of making big-time plays against this Auburn team. However, as it stands Stidham is the better quarterback in this one and that will show on Saturday afternoon- live on CBS.
