1. Ole Miss holds Kent State to single-digits

Laugh all you want at this one. I know Ole Miss isn’t exactly known for its stingy defense, but the Rebels are facing a relatively average offense which could only muster 10 points against Penn State in Week 3 — the Rebels will step up to put up their best performance in quite some time.

The Rebels are allowing an unbelievably mediocre 543 yards per game as well as 43.3 points per game, but there’s a time in each season where things seem to turn around — that will be this Kent State game.

The Golden Flashes have been down on the offensive side of the ball and that’s going to continue here — their best game was at FCS Howard in Week 2.

Can you see Ole Miss holding the Golden Flashes to under 10 points? It doesn’t seem likely, but that’s what makes bold predictions so great — it may seem wild now, but when it happens, you’ll realize just how great and unpredictable college football truly is.

Ole Miss has some work to do on defense, but this could be a nice comeback game for the Rebels as they learned plenty about themselves against Alabama.
