Stanford Football already has one big win over a Pac-12 opponent, but can the Cardinal make it two with a win over Oregon on Saturday?

In what is seen as the game of the week, the Stanford Cardinal travel to Autzen Stadium to take on the Oregon Ducks. The Cardinal are coming off a somewhat-sluggish game against UC-Davis but have shown the type of team they are with a conference win over USC just two weeks ago. The winner of this game could be the deciding factor on who represents the Pac-12 North division in the conference championship game.

But this game could also provide added support to two players Heisman resume: Stanford running back, Bryce Love, and Oregon quarterback, Justin Herbert. Herbert has 13 total touchdowns through three games and has a quarterback rating just under 183. On the other sideline, Bryce Love missed last weeks game and only averaged 82.5 yards in the two games he’s made an appearance in. So a big game and a big win could get Love’s name back into the Heisman race.

Stanford is on the road in this game, but are the ones favored to win by Vegas. Meanwhile, most the experts are split on who comes out on top in this one. The Pac-12 has a representative in the playoff every other year since it was first introduced in 2014-15, and the winner of this game could continue that trend. While Oregon is the home team, and Autzen Stadium is one of the toughest to play in, the Stanford Cardinal will win this game and move to 4-0 on the season, here’s why:
