3. Jordan Ta’amu is good, but Joe Burrow will be better

Don’t get me wrong, Jordan Ta’amu is a talented quarterback. With a stronger supporting cast, he could be one of the best in the conference. He has the receivers to do it, hello AJ Brown and D.K. Metcalf. However, when you don’t have the offensive line or the defense to compliment talent at quarterback and receiver.

However, my bold prediction is that while Jordan Ta’amu will play his heart out, Ohio State transfer Joe Burrow will just be better, without question. Ta’amu will have his moments to shine. LSU will have moments of struggle on defense that allow that, but it won’t be enough to allow Ole Miss to escape this one with a win.

Joe Burrow has been a huge deal in Baton Rouge. He has brought this team back to national relevance with his arm and his legs. A dual threat quarterback like that is necessary to compete at the top of the SEC and LSU finally has that, in addition to a strong running game that we will discuss later.

Basically, this is Joe Burrow’s game to lose. Sorry Jordan Ta’amu.
