Florida football is looking to get hot while Mississippi State is hoping to get back on track. Which side will come out on top?

Newly minted Florida Gators’ head coach Dan Mullen and his replacement at Mississippi State, Joe Moorhead, square off in one of the more intriguing off-the-radar games of Week 5. The two SEC schools participated in this last offseason’s coaching carousel and the early returns have had their ups and downs.

The bearer of bad news, in both circumstances, has been Kentucky. The Wildcats ended a 31-game losing streak to Florida the week before bamboozling Mississippi State and holding the Bulldogs to seven points. It’s safe to say that both squads are still reeling a bit from a surprise beatdown at the hands of the surprise contender in the SEC East.

There’s no better way to get right than to win a big game and start building momentum. For Mullen, he’s out to prove the jump to the East was the right decision. For Moorhead, he has the opportunity to make prove himself against the man he’s replacing. The storyline and the drama that has ensued couldn’t get much better. Now all that’s left is for these two teams to get on the field and play the game.

Which side will bounce back and get on track in Week 5?
