4. Two out of these three games are at home. How big is that?

Death Valley is a big-time place to play, a place that is quite loud and intimidating- especially at night. The game against Georgia is set as a 3:30 ET kick, so it won’t be a “night time in Baton Rouge” type atmosphere. These question now is if Death Valley can be just as loud, just as scary in the middle of the afternoon as they are at night time.

Who knows what time the game against Mississippi State will end up being, especially with how much the Bulldogs have struggled this season. New head coach Joe Moorhead hasn’t exactly taken the team to the place where many expected. With how highly ranked the Tigers are, they could get lucky and grab a night time slot, but that is up to the networks- not us.

Simply put though, the fact that the Tigers play two out of three this month and then Alabama in the first weekend of November at home could be huge for this team. They have quite a lot to do to find their way into the College Football Playoff. Knocking off Auburn and Miami was surely a great start, but honestly now the real work begins.

Can Death Valley make a difference in the results of this month?
