3. This month shows us how good Joe Burrow really is.

So far this season, Ohio State graduate transfer Joe Burrow has been obnoxiously good for the Bayou Bengals. I am not sure that anyone expected him to be this good or for his team to skyrocket up the rankings like they have so far this season. This month will be extremely telling for the Tigers, but right now Joe Burrow has been everything that the Purple and Gold needed.

Of course, outside of a close one against Auburn, who have the Tigers played? A Miami team who’s defense didn’t seem interested in playing at the level we all know they are capable of, a struggling Ole Miss team, Southeastern Louisiana and Louisiana Tech.

Now, he faces off against a defense in Florida who shut down Mississippi State a week ago and they will be stuck with the guys who put the fear of God into Alabama last season in the championship game- at least in the first half, the Georgia Bulldogs. Then, they host Mississippi State who may be struggling but still has a pretty strong defense that could make the game way more interesting than many think.

Simply put, Joe Burrow will be a big part of how this month goes. Here we see if Burrow has enough to cover an entire season or if he will start to level out. The month of October is all about how Joe Burrow can stand up to strong defenses and more experienced quarterbacks in terms of SEC play.
