4. Darius Anderson averages 100 yards per game

Why doesn’t Darius Anderson touch the ball more? It’s life’s simple questions that are usually the biggest mysteries. Although, he did have 16 carries against Iowa State and accounted for only 42 yards on 2.6 per touch.

Two weeks prior to that poor showing against the Cyclones, Anderson had one of the best games of his young career, rushing 12 times for 154 yards and two touchdowns. He was a monster against one of the best teams in the country as Ohio State couldn’t figure out how to stop the junior running back.

In the game before the Ohio State loss, he had nine carries for 69 yards which came after an eight-carry for 36-yard performance in the opener.

October will be a good month for the back as he’ll go off for over 350 rushing yards, averaging over 100 per game. He has the capability to average about 6.0 yards per carry and he’ll do just that. We are going to see more opportunities for the junior from Richmond, Texas.
