1. Shawn Robinson has a breakout month

Have we really seen the best of Shawn Robinson? Absolutely not. The former highly-touted recruit has had a roller-coaster start to his first season as the No. 1 quarterback for the Horned Frogs, but things are only going to get better.

The Horned Frogs may be without Robinson against Texas Tech on Oct. 11, but chances are he’ll play as teammates say he’s “fine” and that he’ll be ready.

Either way, Robinson will have a nice comeback month after passing for 1,023 yards and seven touchdowns with six picks in September. He completed 63 percent of his passes, which is definitely a positive and he has the ability to run.

In October, he’s going to look like the star everyone expected, passing for about 800 yards with nine touchdowns and only two interceptions.

Oh yeah, and he’ll add another 150-200 yards on the ground. The Horned Frogs are going to see just why he was ranked so highly as a recruit.
