Robinson has had some ups and downs this year, but he still ranks highly in the conference with 1,023 yards passing and seven touchdowns. Plus, he’s learning how to perform at a high level on a weekly basis both in practice and during live action on game days.
After opening the year with back-to-back wins over Southern and SMU, the Horned Frogs fell to Ohio State in a game they were leading at one point. A loss to Texas followed, but TCU rebounded by slipping past Iowa State before being off this past week.
Robinson, who threw for 308 yards in the game vs. the Buckeyes, will be put to the test to score points with Texas Tech and Oklahoma on the horizon. He has shown a good ability for avoiding the sack, taking just four in five games — with three of those coming at the hands of Ohio State.
