4. The Aggie offensive line is struggling and as a result so is Kellen Mond.

Texas A&M’s offense has struggled since playing Alabama on the road a few weeks ago, something that really hasn’t shocked many Aggie fans as the team always seems to struggle a bit post-Alabama week. However, this time it isn’t a struggling quarterback- it is a struggling offensive line.

Just like I talked about in the takeaways from the game on Saturday night, Texas A&M’s offensive line isn’t playing at the level of a normal Jim Turner offensive line. What we have seen so far this season is an up and down offense that has shown flashes of what could be an elite offense. However, I am convinced that it is the offensive line that is holding back this team from being a top tier team.

Texas A&M’s offense is starting to look less and less confident and that comes from a lack of blocking by the offensive line. If Kellen Mond doesn’t have the time to make the decisions that he needs, this is going to be a long rest of the season for Texas A&M.

As an Aggie fan myself, I may just have a heart attack if I have to watch Kellen Mond get pressured and sacked as much as I have in the past weeks. This week in practice, this position group has quite a bit of growing and practicing to do that much is for sure.
