2. For the first time in awhile, the Vols finally look confident

Jermey Pruitt is a first time head coach as he takes on rebuilding the Tennessee Volunteers. Now, after an upset of the Auburn Tigers, his team is at 3-3 and starting to change the culture in Knoxville. No one thought the Volunteers would do much of anything outside of living at the bottom of the SEC East. They have started proving the world wrong though and it started this afternoon.

Of course, they host Alabama in the upcoming week — so that confidence may be slightly misplaced as they don’t seem to have much of a chance to win that one. However, a loss to Alabama doesn’t end a season — ask literally every team so far this year.

However, Tennessee has finally developed the confidence that bridges the gap between contenders and pretenders. Tennessee isn’t going to win the East this year, not even close. They could play spoiler for a couple teams, like South Carolina and Kentucky, down the stretch.

Good job Tennessee, the entire SEC is proud of you — even if the Auburn Tigers don’t like you too much right now.
