This season has already been a whirlwind of upsets and Crimson Tide beatdowns. If the season ended today, who would win the SEC football superlatives?

The SEC has once again emerged as a conference led by a dominant Alabama team and then filled with other teams who quite literally beat up on each other week in and week out.
Not every superlative is going to the Crimson Tide though. The first one, however, absolutely does and it is well earned. Let’s get to it, shall we?
If you are surprised by my choice here, you obviously haven’t watched any SEC football this season at all. Alabama has had a long string of quarterbacks that were just good enough to be able to carry their team to the National Title game with the help of an amazing supporting cast.
Sophomore Tua Tagovailoa isn’t one of those guys who are “just good enough.” He has become one of the best to play at Alabama, in my opinion, in quite awhile. He sits as the No. 3 overall spot in terms of passing yards in the SEC with 1,760 so far, only trailing Texas A&M’s Kellen Mond and Ole Miss’ Jordan Ta’amu. The difference? Tua has yet to play a fourth quarter this season.
He has yet to throw an interception, only has been sacked three times and averages almost 15 yards per completion. The only reason I won’t list him as the offensive player of the year on the next slide is the fact that I have given him a higher honor- the MVP of the entire conference.
