The bigger they are, the harder they fall right? The defending SEC West champions aren’t looking all that mighty this season as they have now been routed by Mississippi State and then knocked off by the bottom of the conference, Tennessee.

I don’t know if the Tigers are just having a tough couple weeks or if they are truly just bad, but it isn’t looking good for Gus Malzahn and Auburn right about now. This week they head to Oxford desperately trying to get back on the right track. Beating Ole Miss should be easy, but beating Tennessee was supposed to be too.

Good luck for the rest of this season Gus, because your fans are already trying to raise money for your buy out.

Drew Lock and the Missouri Tigers move down a spot after being routed by Alabama this week, 39-10. Simply put, Drew Lock looks like a top pick when he gets to play against terrible defenses. When you put him in a situation against a defense that actually has a pulse though, things get bad in a hurry.

The Tigers head out of conference in Week 8 to face Memphis at home. The Memphis Tigers are fresh off a heart-wrenching one-point loss to No. 10 UCF. Look for them to feed off of that disappointment in a big way against a struggling Missouri team.
