2. Jordan Ta’amu beats out Jarrett Stidham in the quarterback battle.

One of these quarterbacks is coming off a win and the other a loss. If you would have told me before that the first would be Ta’amu and the second would be Stidham- I wouldn’t have believed you. However, here we are and I am now questioning how good Stidham really is. Does he rely too much on his defense to bail him out when he can’t seem to complete drives? Maybe so.

On the other side, Ole Miss’ Jordan Ta’amu has no defense to speak of and as a result he doesn’t really have that group to rely on. He never really has honestly. The Rebel coaching staff seems to be a big fan of recruiting big-time offensive players and just hoping that is enough to balance out a lack of strong and dominating defense. That hasn’t worked out all too well overall so far this season.

My bold prediction? By the numbers at the end of this one- Jordan Ta’amu wins the quarterback battle over Jarrett Stidham. It can’t be that hard to do if Tennessee did it, that much is for sure. Will Ta’amu be able to do enough win the game though? We will discuss that here in a minute.

I am a huge supporter of Jordan Ta’amu and hope he does well though and for the people who love chaos in the West, a win for the Rebels would surely be the way to do it.
