Headlined by a Top 10 showdown in Jacksonville, the Week 9 college football slate offers plenty of intrigue as teams look to make a final statement prior to the release of the first college football playoff rankings next week.

The last few weeks of the college football season have provided major shakeups to the established order of college football. This is seeming like a season where one loss, and in some cases maybe even two, won’t kill you.

Ohio State’s loss to Purdue provided some major changes at the top, but it wasn’t all that surprising to all of us, at least…

This week offers plenty of intrigue with three ranked vs. ranked matchups on the docket headlined by the Cocktail Party in Jacksonville. There a couple of off the radar matchups between group-of-five teams that could have major implications in the race for a spot in a New Year’s Six bowl game.

This week should help provide a clearer picture in conference championship races with several important games on the docket. Are we win for another chaotic week where upsets will take centerfold? Or will the top dogs take care of business?

All point spreads are courtesy of oddsshark.com as of Tuesday evening.

Last week: 9-1 overall; 6-4 ATS (Season: 16-4 overall; 10-10 ATS)
