3. Jake Fromm’s confidence has been shaken

Confidence for Jake Fromm took a huge hit in Week 7 as he completed less than 50 percent of his passes for 209 yards and a touchdown with two picks against LSU. Florida’s defense won’t take it any easier on the sophomore gunslinger.

The Gators are going to take advantage of the situation and make life difficult on Fromm from the opening kickoff to the final whistle. His confidence has been shaken and it’ll be even worse off when Kirby Smart decides to sit him in favor of Justin Fields in the second half.

This will be a close game throughout, but a couple of interceptions and visibly-off throws will force Smart’s hand and he’ll have to go with his freshman dual-threat.

Fields may give the Bulldogs the best chance to win this one, but being thrown into the action late in a big game like this may be the wrong way to play him.

Fromm was smacked around against LSU and he may not be totally recovered, mentally, from the beatdown.
