1. LSU’s defense shines big time in this one

As it stands, the Tigers have two of the best defensive players in the conference right now in Devin White and Grant Delpit. Now, of course those two aren’t the only contributors to the strong defensive front that the Tigers have put forth. They are, however, two of the best.

The LSU Tigers lead the SEC in interceptions with 15. They were able to force Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa into one, who hadn’t thrown one all year. This is a good defensive unit that knows exactly what they are doing and does not shy away from any kind of challenge as they prepare each week for whatever team the SEC throws at them next.

White missed the first half of last week’s game due to a questionable targeting violation. Delpit was almost ejected for another questionable targeting call. Look for both of those guys to be ready to show up and show out on Saturday night against Arkansas.

My bold prediction? There are at least three turnovers in this game — all forced by LSU and Devin White is easily the star of the show by the time the clock hits zero.
