2. The Aggie defensive front continues its strong play

Let me make this clear, we are discussing the defensive front. The Aggie secondary is a whole different headache — and for many different reasons — that we will discuss in a second. The defensive front was absolutely not to blame for the last loss as it was more a collapse of the offense than that of the defensive front. Now, against Mississippi State, the unit let Nick Fitzgerald have a field day, but that is another conversation for another day.

This unit is likely the strongest and most reliable of the entire team, except for maybe Braden Mann and the superstars of the special teams unit, but that has always been a strength for the Aggies. In the midst of quite a few underclassmen, this is the unit that is led by a nice size group of seniors- namely Kingsley Keke, Landis Durham, Otaro Alaka and Daylon Mack.

My bold prediction? This unit does exactly what they need to do to to put the Aggies in a spot to win this game. Now the young and inexperienced secondary, that is a whole different monster that could easily cost the Aggies this game if they aren’t careful.
