1. UCF demands, and has earned, respect from the nation

When a team starts to do extremely well, normally on an undefeated run, you see signs every where that read “Wa Want Bama” — UCF is no exception. However, those signs have begun to change just a bit as the season winds down and the Golden Knights have yet to get the attention they deserve. For them, the signs read “We Want Respect.”

In my opinion, they have earned that respect tenfold.

I don’t care what conference you play in. I don’t care what your strength of schedule is. Going undefeated in almost two full seasons is something that demands respect on the highest level.

With a win over USF, the Golden Knights will have two back-to-back undefeated seasons including a big win last year over Auburn in the Peach Bowl a season ago. That doesn’t happen by accident. That doesn’t happen everyday. That happens with a team that is talented, organized and ready to fight week in and week out for what they want.

Will they finally move up into at least the top 10 when rankings are released on Tuesday? One can only hope, especially with how Ohio State who currently sits at No. 10 has played in recent weeks and No. 9 West Virginia being upset this week by Oklahoma State. This undefeated team deserves a spot in at least the Top 10, though they demand for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
