After a couple weeks of little to no change, we’ve got several changes in the Big 12 football Week 12 power rankings after some major upsets.

Welcome back to the weekly Saturday Blitz Big 12 power rankings! After two straight weeks in Week 10 and Week 11 of relative stagnation in the conference, we’ve finally got some movement this week! The main movement actually occurs up at the front of the conference, but we do have some changes at the back-end, including a pretty major one at the line dividing good teams and bad ones in this conference.

Those changes come to us, mostly, because of three games. The first, obviously, is Texas-Iowa State, the second is West Virginia-Oklahoma State, and the third, to a less extent, is Texas Tech-Kansas State. While Oklahoma-Kansas and TCU-Baylor are still meaningful, they weren’t as impactful, so we’ll spend a bit less time talking about those games specifically, and more about those team’s seasons as a whole.

Oh, and Oklahoma and West Virginia and playing each other this Friday for a spot in the Big 12 title game, unless Texas loses to Kansas, which is the funniest possibly thing Texas could do.
