2. All that quarterback drama comes to a head for Clemson

If you don’t already know, Clemson has been the center of quarterback drama in 2018. At the start of the season, everyone was sure that Clemson would be headed to the College Football Playoff. That didn’t change down the stretch, but what did change was the quarterback of this team.

At first it was senior Kelly Bryant, though head coach Dabo Swinney had no issue saying that true freshman Trevor Lawrence would also take snaps this season. While Bryant started the season, as it continued on Lawrence got more and more snaps. On September 26th, after officially losing his job, Bryant decided it was best for him to transfer and spend his final season of eligibility elsewhere.

That left true freshman Trevor Lawerence alone atop the Clemson Tigers. He was officially “the guy.” There were no training wheels. There was nobody sitting behind him ready to help when needed. It was just Lawerence attempting to live up to what everyone thought he could be and take his team back to the College Football Playoff.

If the fact that we all get to watch Lawerence continue his strong fight for a title after being thrust into the national spotlight, I don’t know what is. Tune into this one, you won’t regret it.
