2. Emory Jones may have a higher ceiling than Feleipe Franks

Feliepe Franks may have the ideal size and arm strength for an NFL quarterback prospect, but Emory Jones has shown that he may have an even higher ceiling under center.

Think of a situation like Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa or Kelly Bryant and Trevor Lawrence. The young gun may have a better chance to lead the offense to greatness and take over in 2019, but will Dan Mullen make the change?

You have to give it up for Franks who improved in just about every category as a sophomore, passing for 2,284 yards and 23 touchdowns with six picks and a 59 percent completion rate, but is he really the guy? Jones seems to have a higher ceiling and is a more enticing option.

Jones was 12-for-16 with 125 yards and two touchdowns with another 41 rushing yards in limited action as a freshman. He has accuracy, elusiveness and that flash that the Gators need on the offensive side of the ball.

Both were top-100 recruits coming out of high school but only one will get the start in 2019. Who will it be?
