1. The dismantling of Michigan: December 29, 2018
Florida had already had quite the successful season, enough to push them into a New Years Six matchup with the Michigan Wolverines. However, let’s be real not many gave the Gators a real chance in this one. No one believed that the Gators could pull off an upset of the Big Blue Wolverines. The exact opposite happened of course, as the Gators won 41-15.
In 2017, the Gators opened the season with Michigan. Despite a close fight, the Gators fell to the Wolverines. Florida was going to make sure that didn’t happen again and boy did it work out.
Michigan’s Shea Patterson was off balance from the beginning of the game. Florida’s defense once again showed up and showed out. The highlights, like the slides before, are shown below.
Give credit where credit is due to an amazing Florida team that put together quite the season. It was all culminated in a Peach Bowl that went exactly the way that the Gators hoped it would. Everyone played their heart out. Everyone showed up and showed out. Simply put, congratulations are in order for Dan Mullen and his Gator team. They finally put together the season that they were expected to and now they are SEC favorites in 2019.
