There’s a reason Florida is going after some elite receivers in 2020 and it’s because the Gators will be graduating a number of top targets after the 2019 season. If Florida’s offense wants to continue improving, it’ll need to pick up the commitments of guys like the aforementioned Ja’Khi Douglas as well as five-star Marcus Rosemy.

Another in-state target, Rosemy is from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and is considering three major Florida schools along with Ohio State. The Gators will have to duke it out with Florida State and Miami along with the Buckeyes, but they have as good a chance as any.

The only downfall to the 6-foot-0.5, 185-pound receiver’s game is that he’s not the fastest guy on the field. He runs about a 4.84 40-yard dash which leaves plenty to be desired, but he makes up for that with his impressive hands and ability to make catches in traffic. Though his 40-yard dash time isn’t great, he looks much quicker on film and is a deep-threat at the high school level.

Rosemy is the No. 29 player in the class as well as fifth-best wide receiver in the country along with the No. 1 player from Florida, according to 247Sports.
