Man, this kid is fun to watch. If there’s a running back in the class who could immediately change the outlook of a program’s backfield, it’s Demarkcus Bowman from Lakeland, Fla.

Yet another in-state recruit — yes, Florida is absolutely loaded in the class of 2020 — Bowman looks to be the class of 2020’s most electric rusher, or close to it. He’s one of the most explosive runners in the cycle and when he gets into open space, there’s almost no chance of catching him.

Just how fast is he? The 5-11, 185-pound back from Florida runs a 4.54 40-yard dash and when he turns that corner, watch out.

Florida is deep at the running back position, but could use some fresh legs by the time the 2020 season rolls around. He could be an immediate impact guy for the Gators and it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see him star in the orange and blue.

Dan Mullen needs to go all in on Bowman, but it looks like he’s already leading for his services as the 247Sports Crystal Ball has the Gators receiving 100 percent of the votes. He’s also listed as the No. 33 player in the class and the fifth-best running back.
