Another cakewalk game on the Gators’ 2019 schedule, Towson comes to town to end the month of September and Florida is likely going to roll through the Tigers.

Towson had a tough schedule at the FCS level a year ago and came away with a 7-5 record with wins over No. 10 Villanova, No. 13 Stony Brook and No. 5 Elon, but it struggled near the end of the season, losing four of its final five games, including the FCS playoff opener.

This is a different level of competition, though, and Towson will be outmatched from the get-go. It did face one FBS team a season ago in Wake Forest and had its doors blown off. This will be much more of the same, but a more impressive blowout for the Gators.

Feleipe Franks will have one of his most impressive halves as a Gator, passing for over 200 yards and two touchdowns as Emory Jones will play the final two quarters and look good doing so.

Florida’s offense will go off and the defense will dominate as the Tigers will be sent home with an ugly loss.

Final Score: Towson 7, Florida 52 (5-0)
