One of the most surprising outcomes of Florida’s 2018 season had to be the win over then-No. 5 LSU in Gainesville. While it was a home game for the Gators, they were coming off their first win over a ranked team and many thought it was a fluke.

Beating LSU proved it wasn’t a fluke as the Gators showed the rest of the SEC that they weren’t messing around as they improved to 5-1 on the year and 3-1 in conference play.

The Tigers are back as one of the best teams in the conference in 2019, though, and they’re bringing back starter Joe Burrow, a transfer from Ohio State. This will be the second time this season the Gators will have faced a Buckeye transfer quarterback, but this time they won’t have the same luck.

Florida is no stranger to winning in Baton Rouge — it did so back in 2016 — but LSU will be playing well offensively and the Gators will have a tough time with Burrow’s dual-threat ability this time around.

It’ll be a back-and-forth game and an instant classic, but the Tigers will win this one on a last-second field goal.

Final Score: Florida 21, LSU 24 (6-1, 3-1 SEC)
