The projected first round for the 2019 NFL Draft has been shaken up following some big free-agent deals, causing major changes to our latest mock.

The NFL Draft continues to creep up closer and closer, and each passing week provides more and more clarification on how the first round is going to pan out. Team needs have changed significantly in this new update, as the start of free agency brought out the checkbooks with teams spending money on certain position groups, which changes how they might attack the draft.

The combine is now in the rearview mirror as Pro Days take center stage with prospects looking for one last chance to impress prospective teams ahead of April’s draft.

The field has whittled down in terms of those competing for a coveted first round selection. Plenty of guys have moved up draft boards thanks to combine performances, while others have fallen down boards due to the same thing.

I’m still not projecting trades in this mock, although there will undoubtedly be plenty of draft-day swaps as some teams look to move up and land coveted prospects, while others look to move down in order to stockpile more picks.

The wheeling and dealing has already begun, with a change in the draft order of the first round thanks to the blockbuster trade between the Giants and Browns that sent Odell Beckham Jr. to Cleveland. The Giants join the Raiders and Packers in having multiple first round selections this year.

With most of the big dominoes already falling in free agency, we can take another crack at the projected first round of the NFL Draft. Here’s how we see the first round panning out currently, with plenty of changes this week and plenty more to come in the next month.
