Brennan Eagles has size, he’s got speed and he has the moves to make a difference in 2019. Texas doesn’t have an issue with its wide receivers and the depth in that department is astronomical which is where Eagles comes into play.

I mean, just look at this play:

This kid is an exciting sophomore and even though he had just one catch for 35 yards as a true freshman, he should be in the regular rotation in 2019, especially with Lil’Jordan Humphrey gone.

Texas returns Collin Johnson and Devin Duvernay as the No. 2 and No. 3 receivers from last season, respectively, but it will need a guy like Eagles to step up.

Eagles was the No. 61 overall recruit and 10th-best wide receiver in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports. He should be seeing plenty of time as the third or fourth receiver on the team and you can bet he’ll catch more than one pass in 2019.

The sophomore will need a big spring to really prove himself as a top weapon for Sam Ehlinger.
