The 2019 NFL Draft saw five Florida football players selected. With lots of talent on the roster, who could be selected in 2020?

The Southeastern Conference continued to stake its claim as the best conference in college football by blowing away the competition in the 2019 NFL Draft. According to ESPN, not only did the SEC set a new record for the number of players drafted from one conference (64; also, a record it already held), it also marked the 13th consecutive year it boasted the most players selected.

Additionally, every SEC team had at least one player selected – that is, every team except for Tennessee.

Contributing to the dominance were the Florida Gators who saw five players drafted to play at the next level. Jachai Polite, Jawaan Taylor, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, Vosean Joseph and Jordan Scarlett all have bright futures and furthered the theory that the Gators are among the elite at developing NFL talent.

Of course, those Gator players aren’t the only players from Dan Mullen to be drafted in 2019. Mississippi State also saw five players selected in the draft further bolstering Mullen’s reputation of squeezing the most out of his players.

2019 was a good draft year for Florida, but with a bevy of talent on the current roster and a bona fide talent-developer manning the team, the Gators could see a more prolific draft in 2020.

Here are the five players most likely to be drafted next year.
