Reaching bowl eligibility and not being chosen to partake in a postseason game had to hurt, but Miami knew that it didn’t quite do enough to ensure it would see a 13th contest in 2018 despite going 6-6.

More from Ohio State Buckeyes

The RedHawks have no one to blame but themselves after losing four of their first five games to start the year before surging and winning 5-of-7 to close the season. They had a below average offense which returns just four starters and an average defense which will bring back five starters from last season.

Defense may have a much better outlook for Miami, but the Buckeyes will make the RedHawks wish they never took a trip down the road to Columbus.

This one will be ugly mostly because Miami won’t have any answers on the offensive side of the ball and the defense won’t be able to slow down JK Dobbins, Justin Fields and a slew of talented wide receivers and tight ends the Buckeyes will throw at the RedHawks.

Final Score: Miami (OH) 3, Ohio State 42 (4-0)
