While BYU may have been the toughest road battle for Washington to this point in the season, USC will be the most difficult opponent through the month of September.
Although this is a home game for the Huskies, I’m predicting a comeback season for Clay Helton and USC and the Trojans may very well be a Pac-12 South contender. Heck, they could be Utah’s biggest competition for the division title in 2019 and the Week 5 matchup against Washington will be telling as to how far the Trojans have come since last season.
JT Daniels will be improved under center, but he’s going to have a rough day against this Washington secondary in Seattle. They’ll continue their hot streak, picking off a couple of passes and holding him to about 50 percent completions with 215 yards and two touchdowns.
The Huskies will put forth a dominant defensive effort which will take some pressure off Jacob Eason and the offense.
Aaron Fuller will have a big day with 100 yards, but it’ll be Hunter Bryant who steals the show for the Huskies on their way to a statement win.
Final Score: USC 21, Washington 34 (5-0, 2-0)
